Meet the Association Bureau Team

Welcome into 2018!

This year is a promising year with a lot of new activities organised by the Association Bureau together with our various partners.

Watch out for some of our events, like the European Association Summit in March, our Summer and Winter gatherings in June and December respectively, meet us at Eat! Brussels in September or discover the city with us all year round thanks to our Association Hub activities.

And why not talk while we are at IMEX in Frankfurt in May, ICCA World Congress in Dubai or UIA Roundtable in Lyon in November.

  • Jan Lichota, Manager of the Association Bureau, joined visit.brussels end of last year to lead the development of the Bureau activities. He has put his varied educational background for The Brewers of Europe in Brussels as Legal Advisor for several years and has also been active in the fields of event management and journalism. He is also a university lecturer in his home country, Poland.

  • Lara Grofilsjoined visit.brussels end of last year. Her role is to engage international associations in Brussels around the Association Co-Space project, through good networking, community and event management, and partnerships.

  • Giulia Funari, the latest one to join the team. She's the project manager of the European Association Summit and the coordinator of the different activities dealt by the Bureau.

  • Intern Associations, among our team, we always have a place for a trainee that usually join us for a 4 to 6 months training session. The main role is to support us on several projects and events in addition to taking part in the developement of our services.
