The 12th Brussels Sports Festival will be held at the Parc du Cinquantenaire on Sunday 16 September from 10am to 6pm. Kids and adults alike will be able to have a go at a whole host of sporting activities during this fun day out. There will be fifty sports for visitors to try out, demos and workshops, a kids’ village, fun things to do for both young and old, a food and drinks area, not to mention a range of adrenaline-fuelled activities, from a 12 m climbing wall to a dizzying zip line.
Top athletes will be giving judo demonstrations, plus there will be a pole vaulting competition run in collaboration with Brussels Athletics.
The event will also welcome the Belgian Paralympic Committee, which will unveil its new look and pay tribute to the Paralympic athletes who will be competing at Tokyo 2020. Visitors can try their hand at parasports such as boccia (similar to bowls), handcycling, goalball (football for people with visual impairments) and many more. There will also be prizes up for grabs, including a free trip for two to Tokyo provided by our partner ANA (All Nippon Airways).
