The Rue de la Régence 67 is definitely one of the liveliest gallery hubs in Brussels.
Also Dvir Gallery from Israel chose this neighbourhood to settle in Brussels, on the first floor of the front Building.
The gallery was established in 1982 by Dvir Intrator, who wanted to promote contemporary Israeli art.
In the mid-1990s, the gallery started to represent international artists such as Douglas Gordon, Lawrence Weiner, Jonathan Monk, Adel Abdessemed amongst many others.
Gallery co-director Yotam Shalit-Intrator explained that the decision to expand was a natural progression of the gallery’s activities.
After combining their three spaces around Tel Aviv into a five-story building, where the gallery is still housed today, it was time to grow outside of Tel Aviv.
