Christine Trimmer, Executive Director - International Society of Infectious Diseases
Chris Trimmer is the Executive Director of the International Society of Infectious Diseases (ISID). ISID represents over 90,000 professional members of the scientific, medical and research communities globally and is committed to improving the care of patients with infectious diseases, the training of clinicians and researchers in infectious diseases and microbiology, and the control of infectious diseases around the world.
Chris has over 17years experience leading on both strategy and the operational management of complex global charitable organisations. Chris has an MBA from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Biology from Royal Holloway University, part of the University of London. Chris is a member of the Scientific Reference and Advisory Committee of the European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians; on the International Advisory Board for the city of Sydney, Australia; and a member of the PCMA Global Advisory Board.
