Nicolas Fleury is ISO Deputy Secretary-General.
Nicolas began his career in ISO in 1991 as assistant to the Director of Administration, Finance and Marketing. In 2005 he became Director of Marketing and Sales before adding corporate communications to his responsibilities. In this role, he gained broad experience in the marketing and sales of standards, in communication and in intellectual property matters. In 2015 he took up the position of ISO Acting Deputy Secretary General, in charge of ISO’s Central Secretariat operations before being appointed ISO Deputy Secretary-General in 2017. He is also a member of the board of ISO’s Pension Fund.
Nicolas has a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Geneva, specializing in Computer Science and Marketing. He also holds post graduate certificates in Business Administration and International Management, as well as an M.B.A., from the University of Geneva, and is an alumni of the IMD business school for management and leadership in Lausanne. He is a lecturer at various university programs, and is member of the Advisory Board of the Geneva School of Economics and Management at the University of Geneva. Swiss citizen, Nicolas is also member elect and President of the Municipality Council of Arzier-Le Muids where he is living.
