Getting to Brussels

Right in the heart of Europe, Brussels has superb air, road and rail connections. More than 60 million Europeans live within 300km of Brussels, less than two hours by high-speed train. For those who fly in, it takes only 20 minutes from the airport to the city centre. And when you have arrived, it's easy to move around the compact city, by public transport or on foot.

    Brussels Airport

Diabolo infrastructure  provides a quick and direct link between the SNCB station under the airport terminal and the main stations in Brussels (Brussels-Nord, Brussels-Central and Brussels-Midi).

Direct trains run every 15 minutes in both directions. It takes just 17 minutes to travel into Central Brussels.

For train times, check the journey planner  or via the SNCB app.

To pay for this new infrastructure, every passenger travelling to or from Brussels National Airport has to pay a Diabolo supplement on top of the ticket price.

The standard ticket price for travel between the airport and the Brussels Zone is €8.50 per day, which includes the Diabolo fee. If you already have an SNCB ticket, you will have to pay the Diabolo fee separately.  More information

Up to 4 children under 12 can travel free of charge if they are accompanied by a paying passenger. In addition, any ticket to or from a station in the Brussels Zone entitles you to travel by train all day between all stations in the Brussels Zone on the date of travel.
