  • Monday : Place Van Meenen market  

    On Mondays, to forget the difficult start to another working week, Brussels inhabitants come to quench their thirsts on Place Van Meenen. On the square, you’ll spot locals doing their shopping with a drink in their hand. Feeling peckish? Treat yourself at one of the numerous food trucks present.

  • Wednesday: Châtelain market  

    On Wednesday, at the Châtelain market, it’s time for weekend warm-up drinks to celebrate getting past the week’s halfway point! Located in the Bailli-Châtelain neighbourhood, it’s an unmissable spot to enjoy the day’s last rays of sunshine. Between the market stalls and the square’s terraces, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to wine, beer and sparkling wine. After having quenched your thirst, you can choose from the countless restaurants along the square’s neighbouring streets. 

    Useful tip: get to the square by public transport.

  • Thursdays : Place du Luxembourg  

    On Thursdays, Place du Luxembourg is taken over by members of the European institutions and the general public. The Euro Village is the most cosmopolitan of all Brussels’ after work drinks venues. Here you’ll hear all 24 of the EU’s official languages and find people who are up for a party.
