HEALTH AND SAFETY

The European Association Summit is an event taking care of its attendees’ health and safety in all relevant aspects related to the current coronavirus epidemic outbreak.

The organization team is in permanent contact with the authorities of the Brussels-Capital Region and follows closely all recommendations of the Belgian federal government who have robust procedures in place for detecting and treating coronavirus infection. They are constantly reassessing the possible risks.  Insofar we have not received any indication from the authorities on the need to postpone the conference. Local information on the situation in Belgium is provided and updated regularly by the government at: https://www.info-coronavirus.be/en/, where you can find a useful FAQ section. It is important to remember that Covid – 19 causes a mild infection in the vast majority of those affected.

The wellbeing of our participants is among our primary concerns and we will be instituting certain recommended precautions during the meeting. At the venue appropriate hygiene and prevention means are put in place (according to availability). For all health related matters a dedicated personnel shall be on site.

We also recommend the attendees to:

  • wash hands with soap and water regularly
  • use tissues after blowing your nose, and while coughing, or sneezing
  • limit physical contact (hugs, kisses, handshakes)
  • not participate in the EAS in case you have been recently in a geographically risk area (all official information are gathered on our dedicated page HERE, which is constantly updated) and if you show symptoms of illness

The organisation team is at your disposal for all questions regarding the summit or sanitary measures during the event. You can contact us at the email address: easummit@visit.brussels

We thank you all for mutual cooperation and we shall provide all necessary updates related to the conference on our website and through social media.
