Last June 14 ESAE, European Association of Association executives, launched its Strategic Plan for 2019-2021. The Plan implants the vision and sets the foundation for ESAE to strengthen even more its position as the leading pan-European network of Association Leaders and the referenced knowledge source on Association Management, Leadership & Governance.
ESAE believes that associations play an essential role in European society and policy-making and aims to strengthen the role of the sector and its people, through networking, education, advocacy and community-building activities.
ESAE connects European Association Leaders and Executives, supports their professional development and establishes effectiveness and professionalization of the sector. The peer-to-peer exchange and community-feeling is a unique value proposition ESAE is very proud of.
The new Strategic Plan is making ESAE more agile to prepare Association Leaders for the challenges and shifts the Associations constantly face. In this effort, ESAE is honored to be able to count on its partners for support and knowledge sharing.
According to ESAE’s newly Elected President, Giuseppe Marletta: “Although we represent association executives across Europe, Brussels is where ESAE home is. This is why we consider our partnership with visit.brussels a strategic asset for our members: their contribution to our educational programs, the exchange of best practices in the context of the European Association Summit and our common support to the EMIAM. We appreciate greatly their continuous work in assisting International Associations based in Brussels and we are looking forward to expanding our collaboration in the framework of ESAE’s new Strategic Plan.”
ESAE’s Program Manager, Ioannis Pallas added: “We are glad to count on visit.brussels’ extensive know-how in helping understand better and connect with Association Leaders from different sectors. Working with their extremely knowledgeable staff is a valuable practice in ESAE’s way forward to extend our outreach and provide high-quality, bottom-up services to our members.”
At the General Assembly, the Society also elected new Board members, as well as presented its programme of activities for the coming months. All the details are available here: http://associationexecutives.eu
