New urban, industrial and sustainable event venues and hotels are being planned for Brussels
The MICE sector in Brussels is constantly reinventing itself and the current wide range of event venues will expand even further in the years to come. L’Hôtel de La Poste at Tour & Taxis will open up 12 new meeting rooms in April.
The ‘Modern Event’ event venue opened its doors in January, with 3 rooms which can hold up to 350 people.
Hôtel Hubert, a beautiful old building right in the city centre, has just opened, and renovation work has been carried out on the meeting rooms at Galerie Ravenstein...
And, while we’re on the subject of future developments, Tour & Taxis is renovating the Gare Maritime, which will provide new event spaces which will be open for use in 2020. In addition, right in the heart of the city, the five-star Astoria Hotel, with its 100 rooms, is being renovated ahead of its planned reopening in 2021.
In a few years time, two venues with very large capacities will enhance the range of venues available. These are the Kanal-Centre Pompidou (the largest cultural centre in Brussels), and the NEO conference centre and its hotel. If you’re looking for activities for delegates, Brussels Choco Story will reopen in 2019, as well as the Belgian Beer Palace, which will be located in the Brussels Stock Exchange.
