Sustainable September in Brussels

Throughout the month of September, Brussels will be organising a whole host of fun, green, sustainable, and sporting events.

Come and enjoy a breath of fresh air and make the most of what our sustainable city has to offer...

On foot or by bike, by bus or on roller skates… the capital of Europe will be moving differently this autumn.

  • Ecotrail - 08/09/2018

Brussels hosts the Ecotrail, to the delight of sports lovers. An XXL convivial “nature” marathon of 80 km. This year, the start is at the Atomium, with the finish line at the Bois la Cambre (at the old Boitsfort hippodrome). At the beginning the trail uses a large portion of the Promenade Verte, before heading into the Sonian Forest for the last 40 km.

  • Roller Bike Parade - To 14/09/2018

Are you a keen roller skater or cyclist? Then why not join us every Friday evening for the Roller Bike Parade. It’s a superb, perfectly safe itinerary, along streets usually reserved for cars. The route starts (7 pm) and finishes at place Poelaert (by the Palace of Justice).
