Brussels is not just the capital of Belgium and Europe, it also acknowledged as the capital of comic strips, Art Nouveau and gastronomy. This walk will take you to the heart of Brussels to discover the charming and remarkable places, located between the Central Station, the Cathedral, Bozar, the Beguinage site, the former grain market, the former wool market, the old port and the Grand Place. You will learn about the history, architecture and design of specialities such as pralines and beer. You will pass through attractive squares, galleries, halls and buildings, considered "gems" of architecture and urban planning, but also facades decorated with internationally known comic strip figures (including Tintin) and various places where famous artists, including the writer Karl Marx and our great surrealist René Magritte, worked or met with friends. As an option, it is possible to taste Brussels specialities.
