12 Hours for Greece

11/11/2017 - 11/11/2017

12 Hours for Greece is a non-profit organisation founded in 2012. Its aim is to collect, through the organisation of cultural events, funds to support associations in Greece operating in the areas of education, health and the fight against poverty.

Since 2014, in partnership with the International Foundation for Greece, the association launched the Fuel for Schools initiative, aimed at purchasing fuel to heat schools in the Northern part of the country. In four years, it was able to help nearly 30,000 pupils and teachers.

To launch its 2017-2018, the association is organising on Saturday 11 November at 8.00 p.m., in the Salle de la Madeleine in Brussels, a large-scale charity concert with the participation of the TAKIM group, Pandelis Thalassinos and Sofia Papazoglou. As in previous years, the benefits of the evening will be entirely given to the Fuel for Schools project, to heat schools in Northern Greece, the island of Evia, the Cyclades and the region of Missolonghi.
