This tour shows participants the main buildings occupied by the European institutions in Brussels: the European Commission, the European Council, the European Parliament and the Economic & Social Committee. The tour explains what these institutions do, and, above all, the issues raised by their presence in the Brussels urban fabric, based on the monofunctional policy of “all offices – all cars” which was in force in the 1960s and in subsequent urban development plans.
