Dmitry Shishkin is a gifted Russian pianist and composer. After giving his first piano recital at the age of 3 and first concert with orchestra at the age of 6, this native of   Chelyabinsk entered the Moscow Gnesin school at the age of 9 before going on to study at the Moscow Conservatory, at the age of 18. That same year he performed at a concert on Red Square in the presence of the Russian Government. Winner of numerous prizes, he has played alongside great Russian orchestras and gives regular concerts in Europe, Japan and China.  But it is in a recital that this winner of 1st prize at the 2017 Top of the World International Piano Competition will be performing on the BOZAR stage.
