More and more, cities lack places to breathe freely. The opportunity to escape from the frentic and impersonal pace of urban life, to share time with friends ( to eat, discuss, meet...) is becoming increasingly rare. Yet, these moments are veritable breaths of fresh air. This is why MINI has joined forces with Pinkeye creative director Ruud Belmans to create the installation "Breathe" MINI LIVING. An island set in the middle of a large expanse of water in front of the Visment, in the centre of Brussels, that includes a large, round table. To offer uniques moments for city dwellers to share. The installation uses its own natural materials to filter and purify the environmental air in order to offer a fresh breath of air to the city and its inhabitants. This piece of work incarnates the concept of shared urban living that respects the planet.
