The Palace of Fine Arts - BOZAR - was one of the last, and one of the most important creations by Victor Horta after World War I. It is a veritable ode to culture. The building links the upper city and lower city, in the same vein as Central Station. As we walk past the Ravenstein gallery, we come to the Shell building, the imposing Royal Administrative Centre and its more modern financial towers. We stroll a little further along a forgotten neighbourhood to find the Art Nouveau Wauquez stores (by architect Victor Horta) and the socialist press ‘Le Peuple’ (by architects Brunfaut and Son), all pioneers of a new style of architecture.
