Jazz argentin et Classique moderne

05/11/2017 - 05/11/2017

A Grammy award winner, Fernando Otero is considered by many music critics to be a classically trained virtuoso and composer who has developed his own style using elements of contemporary classical music and jazz improvisation with tango as its starting point.
The sound of his native city Buenos Aires, which Fernando transmits, is less that of the city known for its obsession with the dance than what is revealed by his modernist artistic curiosity. Otero reinforces his allusions to contemporary classical music and improvisation that were already evident in his first Warner Music album entitled Pagina de Buenos Aires.
Based in New York, Fernando Otero found a number of close associates. They include: Paquito De Rivera, the Kronos Quartet, Eddie Gómez, and Quincy Jones.
