With sultry reggaeton, this 27-year-old from Madrid criticises the clichés of gender inequality
with which women are too often confronted. On stage, on Instagram and in her steamy
music videos Ms Nina is nothing less than a strong, emancipated, sex-positive woman –
zero fucks given. With her inclusive and feminist message she busts through the boundaries
of the genre.
Ms Nina is a multidisciplinary artist. She studied photography for a while, was Tumblr-
famous with her GIFs and collages packed with pop culture, and has recently gotten into
tattooing. Her infectious sound has its roots in the music she grew up with: salsa, cumbia
and, of course, reggaeton.
