Meshuggah has been known for their technical craftsmanship and their love of polyrhythms since the ‘80s. This already resulted in various descriptions such as 'avant-garde metal' and 'experimental hard jazz'. It has made these Swedes one of the pioneers of what we today call 'Djent'. Following a 5 year silence, 2021 will finally see another new album from these grandmasters!
Zeal & Ardor combines black metal with black spiritual soul from the days of American slavery. These Swiss folks have just recently released the politically charged EP “Wake of a Nation” and are a more than worthy special guest on this night of heavy guitars.
