What do Duke Ellington and Johann Sebastian Bach have in common? Or Miles Davis and Henry Purcell? The Pauline Leblond Double Quartet is a subtle blend of jazz quartet and string quartet that bridges the gap between jazz and baroque music. The eight musicians present their new dance repertoire: original compositions by trumpet player Pauline Leblond. From chorale to counterpoint, timbres intermingle and rhythms overlap, taking the audience on an epic journey to the border between two musical styles.
