From place Sainte Catherine to the Grand-Place, via the district of Saint Géry the visit acquaints children with the first stages of the history of Brussels from the 10th to the 15th century. Here follows a game which encourages the children to question their historical and cultural environment. They are rewarded when they discover the “Treasure of St. Michael”. To finish they are invited to build together a model of the walls of Brussels and the buildings which typify the town in the middle Ages. They keep their work as a memento. For students from 9 to 13 year old.
