Robert Doisneau

19/10/2017 - 04/02/2018

The first retrospective ever mounted in Belgium (!) of the works of the French photographer Robert Doisneau is expected to pull in record crowds. Known, among other things, for his humorous, kindly, and sensitive way of looking at childhood, Doisneau was a key observer of Paris, starting in the 1930s. The exhibition not only includes famous photographs such as the one of a couple kissing on the streets of Paris, but also many less familiar pictures, as well as personal items such as his legendary Rolleiflex. The curators are none other than his two daughters. To enjoy without measure!
