Sgraffiti decorations and art in Anderlecht

After you have had a guided tour of the sgraffiti embellishments in the streets around the Maison des Artistes in Anderlecht, sgraffito artist Élise Raimbault will present and demonstrate this decorative technique, examples of which can be found on many buildings in Brussels. You will then have the opportunity to join in and participate in creating a collective sgraffito decoration. If you wish, you can continue your exploration of art in Anderlecht by visiting the exhibition at the Maison des Artistes. Patricia Bouteiller, Charlyne Misplon and Marie Lechat have been in residence on the premises over the summer of 2018 and invited local inhabitants to participate in their creations. This has given rise to an art installation in which down becomes up, inside becomes outside, and vice versa.

A partnership between Arkadia, Élise Raimbault and Anderlecht Maison des Artistes.
