Storytelling tour of a greenhouse

Hidden away in the large garden of a mansion dating from 1889, designed by Ernest Delune and located in the Louise-Flagey neighbourhood, there is a small, nondescript building. It is a period greenhouse, built against the wall of the garden, with its original iron and glass structure still intact. Recently repaired and restored, it is regularly used by the owner for growing plants.
This unusual example of heritage in the heart of the city will be explored through a series of public readings. All the texts concerned will be connected with the life of plants, the beauty of flowers and the interaction between Man and Nature, and have been selected by the actor Sophie Museur. Like a pastoral muse, she will guide visitors around the greenhouse, punctuating the route with storytelling breaks. An artistic and poetic approach that will present original texts in an equally original setting, blending literature, drama and botany.

A partnership between Francesca Di Mauro and Sophie Museur.
