A new park has been opened on the Tour et Taxis site, the largest in the Region since the time of King Léopold II. This 10-hectare park traverses the site from north to south, running alongside the number 28 railway line as far as the banks of the canal. The main large park is bordered by a series of smaller ones, in keeping with the landscape vision of the Region. The manmade railway valley is spanned by three splendid industrial bridges offering a fantastic view over the Northern Quarter. The small “Parckfarm” community park and its surroundings are home to vegetable gardens and urban beehives and offer recreational spaces for students, artists and local residents. A walking tour with plenty to discover!
