Vandergoten farm: the last farm in the centre of Brussels?

16/09/2017 - 17/09/2017

This exhibition will present archives from the Vandergotens, a family of farmers who later became removal experts, mainly using carriage horses. Acquired by the City of Brussels Archives in 2012, this collection of objects and archives includes a document confirming that the family farm was the last farm in the centre of Brussels. The exhibition will also present old documents (maps and plans) featuring old farms in Brussels and elaborate on the theme of horses in the city using documents from its collection.

In cooperation with the City of Brussels Archives.
