WWI theme : memories in stone

What is a remembrance monument ? how to build it? Do you adopt a specific style: traditional or modern? How to finance it: from public funds or by private financing? In partnership with the Army Museum, E-Guides offers a coach tour to discover several remembrance monuments dedicated to World War I. To remind us that Brussels is not a static city, our tour will show you these statues, buildings or streets where we live. This war is still very much in our memories and our aim is not to give a history lesson. On the way, we will relate some events, names and daily life during and after world war I among other things. This unusual circuit will give you a different insight into Brussels. Weapons have been put away but the city remembers.
