If you take a walk by the Canal near the Porte de Ninove, you can’t miss the vast red-brick buildings that once housed the Belle-Vue brewery. The giant logo of the famous Brussels brand of gueuze beer is also still clearly visible on the façade of the old moult cooling hall. To the rear, the municipality of Molenbeek has renovated the old malthouse, and to the right of the site a hotel, the Meininger Brussels City Center, now occupies the old brewery premises. This tastefully restored space retains many traces of the brewery, which can be seen from the hotel bar in particular.
