The tubby white dog is the life's work of Walloon cartoonist Dupa. Cubitus loves good food, a fascinating novel and good conversation. Against his will, he also gets to test the inventions of his master: inventor/old sea dog/walking disaster Semaphore. In the late 1980s, Cubitus made an appearance in a Japanese cartoon series.
