Church of St John the Baptist in Molenbeek

This church is notable for its amazing 1930s architecture, whose Art Deco features reflect contemporary trends. Designed by Joseph Diongre, it is one of three churches in Brussels made of concrete, and its impressive tower rises to a height of 56 metres. The exterior is faced with white stone, while the interior, clad in various types of Belgian marble, has imposing parabolic arches and numerous stained-glass windows.
