A new approach to housing in Brussels: opened in 2014, the Up-site tower – 42 storeys and 140 metres high – has stunning views of the city and the Canal. It is the tallest inhabited tower in Belgium and one of the tallest in Europe. Its 251 apartments offer plenty of diversity, including one-bedroom units, penthouses and duplexes, but all have a terrace. The tower practically has its feet in the Canal, adjoins both Tour & Taxis and the Bruxelles-les-Bains site and is close to the Gare du Nord railway station. The developer has also decided to redevelop the former industrial dock located at the foot of Up-site, to create a leisure space connecting to the Canal.
