Dear visitor,

We believe it is important to keep you up to date with developments and as such will keep you informed of the current situation about COVID 19 to help you better communicate with your clients and delegates.

Following the National Security Council meeting that was held today at the initiative of the federal authorities, the Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region and the High Official convened an extraordinary meeting of the Regional Security Council (CORES).

The National Security Council recommended banning all indoor public gatherings of more than 1,000 people. This measure will be enforced by means of an order issued by the Brussels Minister-President within the framework of his ability to coordinate prevention and security policies. This order will be immediately applicable in Brussels as soon as it is signed and will remain in force until 31 March. The measure will then be reassessed in the light of the situation.

As a reminder, Belgium is in an enhanced phase 2, the aim of which is to contain the impact of the virus as far as possible.

Here are the recommendations of the WHO,  the Belgian government and the  European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control of  European Union.

A factual and proactive communication always helps to reassure participants. This is what is committed to.

We are continuously monitoring the situation and will, of course, keep you updated through our website.

As a reminder, please find below three simple actions you can take to help avoid the spread of flu viruses, coronaviruses or other viruses:
