Coronavirus: supports and informs the tourism sector

Date of latest update: 14 March 2022 and Brussels' tourism actors, whatever their size, are working together. The health crisis has affected everyone, all sectors and stakeholders. Concrete support is available.

    The Brussels Government has adopted a decree creating a Guarantee Fund for the events sector. The aim is to cover organisers for financial losses caused by the cancellation or postponement of events for health reasons or restrictions on the number of visitors.

    The Guarantee Fund is intended for any Brussels-based entity that organises an event in Brussels.

    The Covid Safe Ticket (CST) is the result of the reading of the EU-COVID digital certificate by the COVIDScanBE application in order to regulate access to a place or event. The CST is similar to the European Covid certificate for travel abroad.

    The use of the CST has been suspended since 7 March 2022.
