Nature in the city

The next edition of Heritage Days in the Brussels-Capital Region will take place on 16 and 17 September 2017 and will have as its theme “Nature in the city”.

This year, parks, gardens and squares in the Region will therefore be featured, as will the close relationship between architecture and nature (châteaux, garden cities, winter and indoor gardens, verandas, companies located in a green environment, cottages and manor houses, farms and rural heritage, etc.). Moreover, architectural constructions in gardens and parks (kiosks, greenhouses, bridges and grottos, pergolas, sculptures, fountains, etc.) will not be overlooked. Emphasis will also be placed on the presence of nature in buildings, from its influence on decoration to the use of natural materials.

In addition to the sites to be visited, numerous activities will be on offer throughout the region. Walking tours, cycling routes, discovery of fauna and flora, bus circuits, exhibitions and more will take you on a journey through all the different Brussels municipalities.

Free entrance and open to all.
