Karen Torosyan, originally from Armenia, arrived in Belgium at the age of 18. He directly began hospitality studies at INFOBO, whilst working in various acclaimed restaurants. He further perfected his metier as sous chef at 'Bruneau', which held 2 Michelin stars for 2 years and worked then for 2 years at the 'Chalet de la Forêt' **.
For the last 6 past years, he has been chef at 'Bozar Brasserie', which was voted best Belgian brasserie in Gault&Millau 2013. The brasserie also received the title of best Brussels bistro by the Parisian guide Lebey in 2015.
Karen Torosyan was crowned world champion ‘Pâté en croûte’ in 2015 and awarded a Michelin Star in November 2016.
