With her solo work she enters new territory, bringing music in which honesty strikes a raw nerve. Milad Mohammadi, born in Iran, is a tar player and multi-instrumentalist. He began his music studies at the age of twelve at the renowned Tehran School of Music from which he graduated in 2005. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Iranian music from Tehran University of Music. In addition to his great knowledge of classical and traditional Persian music, Milâd Mohammadi constantly seeks to go beyond any stylistic and technical limits. He is particularly inspired by music from other cultures, such as Indian and Arabic music, to enrich his musical expression. Sarah Lederman is a film maker and studied both Documentary and Fiction at the The Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema & Sound (RITCS) in Brussels. She finished her Film MFA at Sint-Lucas Brussels with her short film ‘Les Racines de l’Eau’. She is part of Lukas Dhont's Future Five. Currently she finished On naît, on meurt and writing on her first feature within the scenario atelier of the VAF. ‘When Sarah’s father is diagnosed with an incurable illness, she hides behind her camera, trying to preserve his presence forever. What begins as a desperate attempt to hold on to what is slipping away slowly unfolds into a tender portrait of their bond and a quiet reflection on the process of grieving.’ Palettes of Palestine is a Brussels-based initiative creating space for Palestinian art, culture, resistance and storytelling. Through exhibitions, workshops and gatherings, they invite people to come closer, to listen, and to encounter the many voices of Palestine: its artists, makers, young people and creatives, whose lives and work deserve to be seen and heard beyond the headlines. They seek to spark conversation that grows into collective action by building community, live with the dissonance of carrying on through a genocide, mourning while holding on to hope, gather to create, to remember, to share what has been passed down, and to dare to imagine and dream of a liberated future, make room for joy alongside grief, for creation as they witness destruction, and for a culture that refuses to be reduced to the violence and pain inflicted upon it. One day, they hope to give each cause its own space, story by story, because no one is free until everyone is.Sunday 01/11/26 — 14:00 → 21:30Free, without registration.Venue:
