The story of Stand High Patrol begins in 2000 in Brittany (France) when two guys decide to create their own sound system sharing their common passion for reggae & dub. Rootystep (selecta) and MacGyver (operator) begin to collect records and purchase music equipment. They are quickly joined by Pupajim who becomes the MC, the singer and the dub builder of the crew. After 26 years Stand High has created a true musical identity and has established itself as one of the essential sound systems of the French dub scene.The identity of Stand High Patrol comes from the unique voice of Pupajim and the singular style of his dub. This style, named Dubadub is defined as a subtle blend of dub, reggae, hip hop, new wave, house and trip hop.In 2009, the crew creates his own label Stand High Records. In 2012, after releasing several ep's, the Dubadub Muskateerz present their debut album Midnight Walkers followed by 5 albums, the latest being the double LP Skanking & Jacking where they continue to defy boundaries with a new Dub / House experience that carves out and maps a entirely own sonic landscape. But it's from the stage you perceive the right energy from their legendary live shows of which you wish they would never end.Warm up is in the hands of Elisethere. This DJ - originally from Toulouse and currently residing in Brussels - is recognized for her selecta style, which often features a dub siren. Her musical range encompasses everything from 90s roots to the digital dub and steppers of the 2000s, creating a vibe deeply rooted in Jamaican reggae while also embracing contemporary English dub. Elisethere's performances are distinguished by a profound appreciation for the progression of dub music, blending traditional and modern elements effortlessly.
