During the free VK Unplugged concert series, two emerging artists perform their songs in intimate, stripped-down versions in the Hangar room. This edition: Patches and BREEO. Patches, the project of singer-songwriter Lotte Lauwers, makes wistful indie pop balancing melancholy, innocence and sensuality. With her sultry voice, she explores personal growth, vulnerability and cautious optimism on debut album "Pickery Performance", with influences from Dido, Lana Del Rey and PJ Harvey. BREEO is Brio Verneirt’s baroque alt-pop project. Inspired by Sylvie Kreusch, AURORA, Chappell Roan and Kate Bush, she creates a colourful pop world of her own. Her debut EP "Harmonia" reached 300,000 Spotify streams and in 2026 she won the VI.BE prize at Imagine Belgium.
