Poetry and circus performanceInspired by the writings of Mahmoud Darwich, and in particular the poem "The Earth is closing in on us", Marion Collé, Arthur Sidoroff and Alexis Auffray propose a circus and sound performance in the Horta Hall. After the last sky is a homage to the Palestinian poet who died 10 years ago. This performance is the adaptation of an initial version, performed at the Arab World Institute in Paris in September 2018.  Debate: circus in PalestineMarion Collé, Jessica De Vlieghere (Palestinian Circus School) and Veerle Bryon and Hamza Ghazi (Circus Zonder Handen) will speak of their experiences of the circus arts in Palestine. As founder of the Palestinian Circus School, Jessica has seen the circus become a new form of expression giving birth to a new generation of Palestinian artists.  Veerle Bryon, founding coordinator of a circus school in Brussels, stresses that the circus is an art accessible to all. One that connects, strengthens and transforms young people. Marion, Jessica and Veerle share their common passion for Palestine, for working with young people in difficult situations and for experimenting with all forms of cultural expression.  PROGRAMPoetry and circus performance7.30 pm- 8.10 pm Horta Hall Debate: circus in Palestine8.30 pm – 9.30 pm Rotonde Bertouille
