This is one of the most remarkable edifices in Brabant. Although the date of its foundation is not known, it goes back to at least the 11th century. The present church, constructed from the 14th to the 16th century, is a magnificent Gothic edifice. Its Romanesque crypt from the 11th century is one of the oldest and most interesting monuments of this style in the country. The crypt contains a very old tombstone, with a branch bearing a few leaves as its only design. Traditionally believed to be the tomb of Saint Guido. Four columns in this crypt may have come from a Roman villa. Stained-glass windows in the chancel from the 15th and 16th centuries. The spire of the tower is a neo-Gothic addition from 1898.
