Housed in a bright, contemporary building with clean lines, constructed (inaugurated) in 2004, the Théâtre National – the Belgian French-speaking community’s most prestigious stage – offers a wide range of event-hosting facilities thanks to the quality of our public spaces as well as our three variously sized and equipped rooms. At the cutting edge of technological progress, our large theatre (350 to 750 seats) has a stage house, a collapsible orchestra pit and a partially retractable seating tier. Being so adaptable, it gives free rein to all sorts of wishes and is suited just as well for hosting conferences and assemblies as performances, concerts... The cozy, comfortable Jacques Huisman hall with its fixed tier of 250 seats fosters proximity and conviviality. The Studio is a multipurpose room with a flat floor and a removable tier of 240 seats.
The bright and reception areas, spread over two levels, are equipped with 3 bars and allow you to design the reception best suited to your projects.
The Theatre is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The main auditorium and the Jacques Huisman hall are equipped with a magnetic induction loop.
In designing and executing your event you will be supported by the Theatre’s team of professional performing arts and hospitality experts.
With its ideal location in the historic centre of Brussels, the Théâtre National is well served by trains and public transport and easily accessible from both the centre and the European Quarter.
