After his widely praised sixth studio album "The Horror“, released in May 2018, followed by a sold out big band tour including 14 musicians through prestigious concert halls like the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, The Globe in Vienna and Le Trianon in Paris, Get Well Soon (Konstantin Gropper), returned to his other job as a film composer. In this area he had already created original soundtracks for a long list of well known directors, including Wim Wenders and German heavy-weight Detlev Buck. Get Well Soon also composed music for a play at Frankfurter Schauspiel, the French/Canadian ARTE TV show Xanadu and many more engagements in TV, film, and commercials. He even found time to produce Germany's biggest hip-hop artist Casper's record “Hinterland".

In 2019 he was asked to deliver the original music for what was only the 3rd ever German Netflix series "How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast)" The coming-of-age-comedy/drama is inspired by the true story of Maximilian S. from Leipzig, who power-sold drugs via his shop "Shiny Flakes" on the internet. The 18 year old operated out of his childhood-bedroom, which is also where the police found an incredible 320 kilos of drugs when he was finally captured. The show outperformed every expectation, being in many Netflix Top10 charts of 2019 and with a massive following around the globe, notably Europe and South-America. It holds today a rating of 8/10 on IMDB and an audience score of 93% at Rotten Tomatoes - rare for a European-based production

In 2020 Get Well Soon got ready again with a new concept and energetic songs for a new album and a new tour throughout europe, going back to the band-setup and feeling hyped to play in Brussels again. Well, then Covid hit, so Konstantin could spend even more time to define the music, creating an absolute gemstone of a new Get Wel Soon record. It will be reelased in the spring 2022 and we all can’t wait to show you new and old songs in Brussels!
