A breathtaking view!

Faced with an urgent need for housing, the Municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert/Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe granted permission for the construction of a residential complex in the area known as “Montagne des Lapins” or “rabbit mountain”. The project was entrusted to the architect Charles Van Nueten, who designed three balcony-access buildings and a sixteen-storey tower block. The complex contains 94 apartments in addition to a caretaker’s office, a crèche (still in operation) and a library, which has since closed its doors. Completed in 1968, “Old Mont-Saint-Lambert” was officially opened by King Baudouin. In 1976, the architects Georges Peppermans and Roland Matthu constructed 8 additional buildings arranged around a vast esplanade.
Come and enjoy the stunning view from the 66-metre high Habitation Moderne tower. The terrace offers a breathtaking panorama of the municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert/Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe and the Brussels Region and, on a clear day, you can even see the belfry in Mechelen! The residents of the tower will serve as your ambassadors.
