IAH2021 "Inspiring Groundwater" is the 2021 edition of the annual conference of the International Association of Hydrogeologists, organised by its Belgian branch (association CBH-BCH). Water is a basic product, even though it is essential to life. IAH2021 was an opportunity to discuss all the issues from ground water, climate change, the pollution of resources, the chemistry of water, geothermal and mineral springs, cross-border aquifers and the artificial recharge of aquifers. In total, 17 topics were put forward for one week to scientists in the global community of hydrogeologists.
European Cancer Summit 2021 - European Cancer Organisation

The European Cancer Summit 2021 brought together leading cancer experts, opinion leaders, politicians and policy makers to discuss key issues impacting cancer policy for the benefit of cancer patients, healthcare professionals and citizens across Europe. This high-level summit, organised annually by the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), focused on the implementation of the European plan to fight cancer and the recommendations of the European Cancer Mission, through the nine ECO focus areas. The aim of the summit is to highlight the multi-stakeholder collaborative efforts being made to achieve tangible results. Such an exchange contributes to improving cancer outcomes and raises awareness of the many challenges in the field.
27th Brussels International Spine Symposium: The Failed Spine - Brussels International Spine Symposium

Conference dedicated to spinal pathologies and surgery. At this international event, experts review the various advances, new technologies and results in the field of spine health. Every year, a different key topic in the field of spine pathologies is covered in all its medical, surgical, economic and ethical aspects. The symposium encourages interaction between speakers, participants and partners from the surgical device industry through presentations and debates with Q&A sessions. The speakers, who are true opinion leaders, and the participants come from all over the world. In 2021, the theme was ‘The Failed Spine’, which focused on the issue of spinal surgery failures.
ILDLT Congress 2021 - Institute of Experimental and Clinical Research (IREC) / Université catholique de Louvain (UCL)

This event was organised in collaboration with the Belgian Section for Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery (BSHBPS) of the Royal Belgian Society for Surgery (RBSS). On this occasion, the 21st annual BSHBPS postgraduate course was officially integrated into the ILDLT Congress. This biennial meeting builds on the previous ones, which were held twice in Seoul, in Dallas and Kaohsiung. As the Western world is still reluctant to adopt this revolutionary therapeutic method, the ILDLTG Board decided to bring the congress to the heart of Europe, in Brussels. This challenge was successfully met by the local organisers. Computer, Privacy & Data Protection conference (CPDP) - Privacy Salon

As part of its activities, Privacy Salon co-organises the annual “Computers, Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP)” conference. The fourteenth edition took place in 2021. It is a leading multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder conference, presenting the latest legal, regulatory, academic and technological developments in the area of privacy and data protection. In brings together in Brussels academics, lawyers, practitioners, policy makers, industrialists and civil society representatives from all over the world, giving them a platform to exchange views regarding the latest trends. This formula has helped to make the CPDP one of the major data and privacy protection conferences in Europe and the world. The conference welcomed 1300 participants in 2021.
