  • Belgian Chocolate Experience - Brussel House Basilic & Belgian Chocolate Village
    Project date: September 2020
Brussel House Basilic is a tourist apartment complex that opened its doors in Koekelberg in September 2020. What makes this accommodation so special, you ask? The 'Brussels Chocolate Experience' package developed in collaboration with the Belgian Chocolate Village. When booking this experience, guests are treated to a selection of Belgian chocolates in their apartment, as well as tickets to visit the famous Belgian Chocolate Village, just a 10-minute walk away. There they can enjoy an interactive tour of the museum and the chocolate workshop, as well as a drink in the Art Deco lounge. Upon booking, guests receive a code to access their private accommodation. Everything is contactless and the apartments are fully equipped and tastefully furnished.

  • Repairing the future - Bozar, Centre for Fine Arts
    Project date: summer 2020
Throughout the summer of 2020, Bozar discussed the first wave of the health crisis with leading writers, scientists and philosophers. These interviews took place every Wednesday, via videolink, in an empty Henry Le Bœuf Hall, due to coronavirus. But BOZAR looked beyond that, to imagine what the world of the future could look like. More than ever, humankind needs a distant horizon full of dreams, stories and inspiring visions of the future. Artists and scientists can help us look ahead because, for them, the future means imagination and improvement. With: Paolo Giordano (Italy), Thomas Piketty (France), Olivia Laing (UK), Felwine Sarr (Senegal), Srećko Horvat (Croatia), Valérie Trouet (Belgium/US), Joseph E. Stiglitz (US), Mazen Maarouf (Palestine/Iceland), Rem Koolhaas (the Netherlands), Edgar Morin (France).

  • JeSoutiensMonHorecaDeQuartier.Brussels - Bières de Quartiers
Project dates: March to May 2020
JeSoutiensMonHorecaDeQuartier was created at the start of the first lockdown by Bruno & Greg of the "Bières de Quartiers" brewing project. This platform made it possible to prepay for your consumption in certain hospitality establishments in Brussels, enabling them to maintain their cash-flow. The platform was (of course) free for the establishments. Consumers had the option to purchase €15 vouchers from cafés/bars and €25 vouchers from restaurants. The vouchers automatically included one or more Bières de Quartiers.

  • IN SITU - KANAL-Centre Pompidou & #windowmuseum
Project dates: 8 May to 28 August 2020
KANAL-Centre Pompidou and the new #windowmuseum platform (independent participative platform created by artists) developed a pilot experiment to make art accessible once again in public spaces and to get around the constraints of the health crisis. The IN SITU exhibition attempted to answer the question "How can works of art still be exhibited today?" by coming up with new forms of presentation of artistic creation and by reconsidering the challenges of the traditional exhibition model. Transforming the museum's windows facing the public space into a picture rail using an innovative stage device enabled artists to continue their work while avoiding the pitfalls of virtual approaches.

  • Park Poétik – WIELS
Project date: 1 July to 31 August 2020
Park Poétik is the COVID-proof alternative to the SuperVliegSuperMouche festival. During the summer of 2020, socio-cultural partners, artists and residents joined forces to organise a participative artistic summer. The public spaces of the communes of Saint-Gilles and Forest were used as places for artistic meetings for both young and old. Over 150 activities flooded the streets, parks and squares with poetry. Street theatre, play areas, circus acts, performances, mobile sound system... the artists did not lack ingenuity when making this free and long-lasting open-air event a reality.
