For more than 10 years, the visit.brussels Awards have been rewarding local cultural and tourist initiatives that have helped the capital to shine on a national and international level. The winners are selected by the general public and by a jury composed of professionals from the tourism sector, the academic world and the press. View the previous winners here.
Last year, visit.brussels created new categories to reflect the health crisis and the countless original initiatives that Brussels partners had put in place. Those categories will be maintained this year, with a new B2B events category completing the list. Discover the 7 categories.
The public will first select the five best projects in each category. Then, a panel of Brussels tourist industry professionals and journalists will pick the winners from among the finalists, founding their choice on six criteria:
- The project’s success,
- Client centricity,
- The project’s sustainability (ecological, economic and social),
- The efforts to make the project accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
The awards ceremony will be held on 21 April 2022 and will respect all the health and safety measures in place.
Let’s write the next chapter together!
