The call for application is now closed! See you on February 4th  2019 for the opening of the public vote and to support your favourite candidates!

  • THE DIFFERENT STAGES:

    • Stage 1: three nominees are selected by the public*

    Members of the public have one month to vote for their favourite project in each category. At the end of this period, the three projects with the most votes are nominated and go on to the next stage.

    *Except for the “INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS & FAIR” category that is only submitted to the jury vote.

     

    • Stage 2: the winner is chosen by the panel of judges

    The judges pick the winner from the three nominees in each category. The names of the winners will be announced during the visit.brussels Awards & Networking Night on 28 March 2019.

    Nominees will be judged on five criteria: impact on the international reputation and attraction of Brussels, impact on tourism in Brussels, originality, the sustainability of the project (ecologically, economically, socially and/or its digital innovativeness), the efforts made to make the projects more accessible to people with reduced mobility.

  • What’s at stake ?

    The 9 projects to win first the public vote, then the jury vote, will be honoured at the visit.brussels Awards ceremony. The event gathers close to 400 professionals from Brussels’ tourism, cultural, hotel and events sectors. In addition to being honoured by their sector in the presence of Brussels ministers, this event will be an ideal occasion for candidates to do some useful networking.

    What’s more, after the ceremony, the winners will benefit from a targeted communication campaign to promote their current or upcoming projects on visit.brussels’ social media.
