Treat one of our team to a present on their birthday and receive a PASS 2018 worth €10!
On 4 December 2018, experience.brussels will celebrate its 10th birthday! For this special anniversary year, we would, of course, like to treat you, but we’d also like to give something back to our incredible team for all their wonderful hard work. That’s why we’re offering a year’s pass to our exhibitions to any visitors who bring a little present for one of our team on their birthday.
It’s really easy to take part! Come to experience.brussels’ ticket office on one of the below dates with your present. You will immediately be given a PASS 2018 and you can go and wish our colleague happy birthday in person!
It’s that easy! All you need to do now is choose one of the dates below. Maybe the short introductions to each team member can help give you the inspiration you need to find that perfect present!
Sunday 7 January: Anikó’s birthday
Anikó has worked with us at experience.brussels since 1 September 2010. She is Hungarian and moved to Brussels almost 8 years ago. Her son Gyuszi (3 and a half years old) is already a proper little Zinneke (a Brussels local with a rich, mixed heritage)! At experience.brussels Anikó is in charge of group visits, as well as welcoming visitors and managing bookings. On top of this she loves to create educational activities like Around the World in 19 Communes, a fun booklet aimed at 8 to 12 year olds. It’s a must and its central theme came as no surprise to us, as this globetrotter never misses a chance to travel, and always comes back bursting with new ideas!
Sunday 25 February: Cécile’s birthday
It’s hard to imagine our exhibition without Cécile, who has been a part of the team since July 2009. Mother to a 14 year old, she played an important part in the creation of our new eB! Quiz and has already guided several thousand children, teenagers and adults around experience.brussels! Passionate about cinema, literature and, above all, photography, Brussels is the perfect city for her, and she never gets tired of the life-size portraits of the people of Brussels that line the exhibition. She also knows, by heart, the original introductions to each of experience.brussels’ rooms, which are voiced by famous Brussels radio presenter and folk singer Coco Van Babbelgem!
Wednesday 7 March: Benjamin’s birthday
Benjamin arrived at experience.brussels on 1 October 2014. He is passionate about Brussels and, as such, is hopelessly devoted to the exhibition exposition! What he loves above all, is how different cultures meet in the multi-faceted Brussels-Capital Region. His favourite pastime is to lose himself in lesser-known neighbourhoods and be surprised by Brussels’ endless riches: architecture, secret parks, unexpected views, flavours and customs from all four corners of the globe. At the beginning of 2016 he launched a programme of temporary exhibitions that included MIXITY 183, an unmissable temporary cultural venue and interactive augmented reality experience that is open until 30 June 2018 and should not be missed!
Psssst… if you can’t get to experience.brussels on these dates, you can also send your birthday wishes by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or on our Facebook page, we’ll make sure we pass on your message… and give you a free entry to the exhibition! ;-)
See you soon!
*The PASS 2018 is valid from 2 January 2018 to 31 December 2018 included, during the exhibition’s usual opening hours: 09:30-17:30 during the week and 10:00-18:00 at weekends and on public holidays (last entries 30 minutes before closing time). It’s worth €10 but cannot be exchanged or reimbursed. The PASS 2018 is personal and nominal.
